Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to join the team at Aldi. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in store management, overseeing day-to-day activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and identifying training opportunities to develop the team.

Full-Time

Average Hours:

38 hours per week

Starting Wage:

$24.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement action plans to enhance operating results
• Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations
• Identify training opportunities for team development
• Monitor competitive environment and provide feedback
• Participate in the interviewing process
• Ensure inventory procedures and cash control policies
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper signage
• Supervise team operations
• Comply with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Provide exceptional customer service
• Develop rapport and trust with team members
• Interpret and apply company policies
• Evaluate and drive performance
• Operate cash register and equipment
• Excellent communication skills
• Stay organized and multi-task effectively

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 3 years retail experience
• Prior management experience preferred
