Associate Director, Clinical Data Innovation, GCDO Business & Technology Capabilities

Jazz Pharmaceuticals is seeking an Associate Director to oversee data and analytics platforms used by the Global Clinical Development Operations department. The role involves leading a team, developing strategic roadmaps, optimizing platform usage, and maintaining cross-functional relationships. Responsibilities include managing project portfolios, resolving complex issues, and coordinating with vendors for system development and testing. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of clinical trial processes, strong project management skills, and experience with visualization tools and data structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for clinical data platforms.
• Optimize platform usage and implement change management strategies.
• Lead and mentor the Clinical Data Innovation team.
• Establish strong cross-functional relationships at a senior leadership level.
• Interface with platform technology vendors and maintain current knowledge of technology in clinical trials.
• Create and review technology requests, engage in vendor selection, and coordinate system testing.

Requirements:

• Thorough knowledge of clinical trial study design and data collection.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with visualization tools and CDASH standards.
• Understanding of regulatory and industry standards (ICH E6, SDLC).
• Project management experience and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor or Master's Degree in Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Minimum 10 years in clinical trial roles with 3 years in leadership positions.
