Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join the ALDI team. As a key member of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. Your role will focus on delivering outstanding customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in daily tasks.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting and guiding customers during their shopping experience.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
  • Participate in inventory counting and ensure accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining document security and confidentiality.

Physical Demands

  • Stock and place heavy products on shelves.
  • Perform various physical activities around the store.

Qualifications

  • 18 years or older.
  • Efficient cashiering and customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate store equipment safely and effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Work independently and in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Retail experience is preferred.
