Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance, assisting customers, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This full-time position offers an average of 32-40 hours per week with a starting wage of $16.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management.
  • Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
  • Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.

Physical Demands

  • Stock merchandise and lift items weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Perform various tasks including sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Efficient cash register operation.
  • Safe equipment operation (e.g., hand jack, floor scrubber).
  • Follow company policies and procedures, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous retail experience is a plus.
