Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills in daily tasks.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to enhance operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy and compliance with cash policies.
• Adhere to company policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above.
• Proficient in providing courteous customer service and operating a cash register.
• Skilled in using equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
• Capable of following company standards for cleaning and procedures.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, staying organized and detail-oriented.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is an advantage.
• Combination of education and relevant experience is considered.
