Job Description

We are hiring a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will collaborate with the ALDI team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
  • Communicate effectively with team members and store management
  • Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
  • Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring data security and confidentiality
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
  • Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
  • Capable of maintaining cleanliness and following company standards
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking
  • Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
