Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the customer shopping experience by delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the Aldi team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers throughout their shopping journey.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash policies to minimize losses and comply with company procedures.
• Adhere to company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multitask effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
