Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to work with our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, assisting customers, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. You will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all patrons.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Comply with established company policies while maintaining data security and confidentiality.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Capability to maintain cleanliness according to company standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work independently and within a team setting.
- Meet all requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.
Educational Requirements and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
