Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional customer shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Assist customers and enhance their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and store operations.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash management policies and company procedures.
• Uphold company policies, security, and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties and follow company standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet all state and local requirements for beverage handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience for equivalent knowledge.
