Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of the store staff, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience.
Position Details
- Job Type: Full-Time
- Weekly Hours: 32-40 hours
- Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain displays
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively
- Report product issues and inventory discrepancies
- Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
- Follow company policies and procedures while ensuring data security
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient and accurate cash handling skills
- Operate equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain cleanliness according to standards
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Work independently and in a team environment
- Meet requirements for selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
