Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our store's appearance and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include stocking shelves, assisting customers, collaborating with team members, and ensuring the store's overall success.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Follow cash handling procedures to ensure security and loss prevention.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work at ALDI.
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
- Able to perform cleaning tasks and adhere to company policies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Meet state requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- Combination of education and relevant background is accepted.
