Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and welcoming store environment. Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks following ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills guidelines.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers throughout their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and provide feedback to management on store operations.
• Conduct inventory counts and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with established policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to maintain store cleanliness and follow company policies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
