Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, cashiering, and ensuring the store is well-maintained at all times. Your role will involve enhancing the overall customer shopping experience through exceptional service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering duties, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with their needs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with store management.
• Provide feedback on product quality, inventory management, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts per guidelines and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies.
• Follow company policies and maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Complete any other assigned tasks diligently.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate prompt and courteous customer service skills.
• Efficiently operate a cash register.
• Safely handle equipment such as hand jacks, scrubbers, and balers.
• Follow cleaning standards and company procedures diligently.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet requirements for alcohol sales if applicable.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
