Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a crucial member of our store operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. Working collaboratively with the Aldi team, you will provide exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Report product feedback, inventory issues, and participate in store inventory counts
• Follow cash handling policies and uphold company procedures

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior work experience in retail is a plus
