Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers. This role involves collaborating with the ALDI team, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting in various tasks to optimize store operations.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI’s Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain clean store environment, and organize merchandise displays
• Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers and communicating effectively with the team
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to the management team
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock levels
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures to uphold security measures
• Follow established company policies, maintaining confidentiality of information
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register
• Proficient in handling equipment and completing cleaning tasks to company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior retail experience desirable
