Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. Your main goal will be to enhance the customer shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the ALDI team.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash policies and minimize losses
• Comply with company policies while ensuring document and data security
• Perform other assigned duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely operate store equipment
• Interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Work well independently and in a team environment
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multi-task efficiently
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail work experience preferred
