Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join Aldi's team. This full-time position involves merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays neatly.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses.
• Follow company policies, uphold document security, and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register.
• Safely operate store equipment.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Work independently and within a team effectively.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, follow instructions, and multi-task efficiently.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
