Job Description: Customer Service and Stock Specialist

Join Aldi as a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to enhance the shopping experience for our customers. As part of the team, your role will involve merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness, while providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with colleagues.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate ALDI Acts Competencies and provide exceptional customer service
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash policies
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Perform other assigned duties

Physical Demands

  • Ability to stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform general cleaning tasks
  • Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk around the store

Qualifications:

  • Minimum age requirement: 18 years
  • Customer service and cashiering skills
  • Ability to operate equipment and adhere to company policies
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is desirable
