Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at ALDI. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for our customers by providing exceptional customer service, assisting with purchases, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean store environment. If you are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a team-oriented setting, we would love to have you on board.
Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Monitor inventory accuracy and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies while maintaining document and data confidentiality
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stock merchandise and lift items weighing up to 45 pounds
- Perform various physical tasks within the store environment
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Efficient operation of cash register and store equipment
- Work independently and in team settings
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- High school diploma preferred, retail experience a plus
