Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for various in-store tasks such as merchandising, cashiering, stocking shelves, and providing exceptional customer service. Collaborating with the Aldi team, you will contribute to enhancing the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases, maintain a clean store environment, and neatly organize merchandise displays.
- Assist customers with their shopping experience, providing exceptional service at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with store management.
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues to management.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Uphold cash policies and minimize losses, following company procedures diligently.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older to be employed at Aldi.
- Demonstrate prompt and courteous customer service skills.
- Efficiently operate a cash register and other necessary equipment.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Work well in both independent and team settings, maintaining organization and attention to detail.
- Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
- Prior retail experience is preferred.
