Job Description

We are hiring a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the store is well-maintained and customers receive top-notch service. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, cashiering, and contributing to the overall cleanliness and organization of the store.

Position Details

  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
  • Starting Wage: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
  • Assist customers with their shopping experience and provide exceptional service
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
  • Stock shelves, maintain neat merchandise displays, and handle general cleaning duties
  • Report product issues, inventory discrepancies, and other concerns to management
  • Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
  • Adhere to cash-handling policies to prevent losses
  • Follow company procedures while maintaining document security and data confidentiality

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service
  • Skilled in operating a cash register and store equipment
  • Familiar with company policies and able to adhere to them
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior retail experience is a plus
