Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer shopping experience. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's appearance. This is a full-time position averaging 32-40 hours per week, starting at a competitive wage of $17.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P)
  • Assist customers with their shopping experience by providing exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
  • Contribute to maintaining inventory accuracy and monitoring product displays
  • Adhere to cash policies and company procedures to ensure operational efficiency
  • Engage in general cleaning duties and uphold company standards

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register efficiently
  • Demonstrated skills in equipment operation and general cleaning tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail experience is a plus
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
