CVPH Registered Nurse - Maternal Newborn - night shift

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated CVPH Registered Nurse for the Maternal Newborn unit to join our team on the night shift. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the nursing process. You will also provide patient education, maintain professional nursing standards, and collaborate with other healthcare disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Direct and guide the delivery of nursing care.
• Provide patient education and support.
• Maintain professional nursing standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members from various disciplines.
• Float to Psychiatry and the Behavioral Decision Unit as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license in New York State.
• Prior mental health experience preferred.
• Experience with group facilitation is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to meet physical/pre-placement screening requirements.
• No record of Child Abuse, Neglect, and/or maltreatment.
