Job Description

Join our team as a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager at Aldi, where you will be a key player in managing store operations and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves supervising day-to-day activities, developing action plans, training and leading a team, and maintaining high store standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement action plans to improve store operations.
  • Communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor the competitive environment and make recommendations to maintain market position.
  • Ensure inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies are followed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and product presentation for maximum sales.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations, address customer concerns, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Experience in retail management and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to operate cash registers and store equipment.
  • Understanding of budgeting, personnel costs, and expenses.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; management experience preferred.
