Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with supervising day-to-day store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational action plans. You will play a key part in training and developing the team to achieve excellence in customer service and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results.
  • Establish job responsibilities and performance expectations for team members.
  • Identify training opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Communicate and uphold company values, fostering teamwork among employees.
  • Provide feedback on products and contribute to maintaining competitive positioning.
  • Participate in the store's recruitment process.
  • Ensure adherence to inventory procedures and store cleanliness standards.
  • Supervise daily operations, addressing issues promptly for optimal customer service.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience in retail and prior management roles preferred.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying company policies.
  • Skilled in budgeting and managing personnel costs.
