Position: Store Associate
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $17.50 per hour
As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience. You will collaborate with the ALDI team and deliver outstanding customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
- Follow company policies while maintaining security and confidentiality
- Complete other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior retail experience is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and store equipment effectively
- Capable of working independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to multi-task and follow instructions efficiently
