Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks including merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash policies, procedures, and company policies.

Physical Demands:

- Stock merchandise weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Stand, sit, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk within the store.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register.
• Safely operate equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• Interpret and apply company policies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
