Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store operates smoothly by merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and teamwork will enhance the overall shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the required Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts as needed and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses by following procedures.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, prioritizing document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills.
• Operational proficiency with equipment like cash registers and manual tools.
• Ability to follow company policies, operate efficiently, and maintain cleanliness.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and local regulations.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is advantageous.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
