Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's appearance and providing excellent customer service. This position involves merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring a clean shopping environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills as outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers during their shopping experience.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
• Offer feedback to management on products, inventory, and any issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Comply with company policies, uphold security measures, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficiently operate a cash register and store equipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and within a team environment.
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
