Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandise stocking, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Your contribution will enhance the overall customer shopping experience through exceptional service and teamwork with the Aldi staff.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professionalism and perform duties according to ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and communicate with store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy in monitoring stock levels.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses through compliance.
• Follow company policies to maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional tasks as required in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capability to handle cleaning tasks and maintain store standards.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team setting.
• Meet all local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is an advantage.
• A combination of education and experience will be considered.
