Full-Time Store Associate (32-40 hours per week)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store is well-organized, customers receive exceptional service, and operations run smoothly. This position involves merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers with a positive attitude
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly with management
• Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
• Fulfill cashier responsibilities following cash policies and procedures
• Adhere to company policies ensuring security and confidentiality
• Handle physical demands related to stocking and store operations

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement is 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
• Capability to maintain cleanliness and follow company standards
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma preferred
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
