Job Description
As a Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a key role in ensuring the store's success by merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. By delivering exceptional customer service and collaborating with the team, you will contribute to an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Offer feedback on products, monitor inventory levels, and participate in store inventory counts
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies while ensuring document security and confidentiality
- Complete other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Proficient in cash register operations and equipment handling
- Ability to perform general cleaning tasks and follow company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
