Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Collaboration with the Aldi team and providing outstanding customer service are key aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service by assisting shoppers and addressing inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to prevent losses.
• Follow company policies, ensuring document security and confidentiality.
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service.
• Proficiency in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Capability to operate equipment like floor scrubbers and cardboard balers.
• Experience in retail is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and follow instructions.
