Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, maintain store cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visits.
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management.
- Offer feedback to management on product quality, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accurate stock monitoring.
- Follow cash handling procedures to minimize discrepancies.
- Adhere to company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Capable of operating store equipment, including hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Ability to follow cleaning standards and company policies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience is suitable.
