Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. You will collaborate with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the ALDI Acts Competencies and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
- Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
- Efficient operation of a cash register.
- Safely operate store equipment.
- Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail experience is a plus.
