Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to provide customers with a top-notch shopping experience. Your collaboration with the Aldi team and dedication to exceptional customer service will be vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) outlined for the role.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide outstanding customer service, assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
• Comply with established company policies, upholding document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Skills in general cleaning duties to maintain store standards.
• Interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain organization, attention to detail, and follow instructions efficiently.
• Meet all state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience preferred.
• A combination of education and experience equivalent to the role.
