Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and enhancing the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, maintain a clean store, and organize merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their visit
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory accuracy, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies while ensuring data security and document confidentiality
• Carry out additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Proficient in cash register operation and equipment handling
• Capable of maintaining cleanliness and following company procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Detailed-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent
