Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, merchandising products, cashiering, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the store.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks with or without reasonable accommodation while upholding ALDI's standards.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Offer outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store experience.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any issues to enhance the customer experience.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Comply with company policies to ensure security and confidentiality of information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Demonstrated ability to offer prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of cash registers and store equipment.
• Capability to handle merchandise and perform general cleaning duties.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Meet local requirements for selling alcohol where applicable.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience considered.
