Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our store maintains its inviting atmosphere and provides exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness standards to enhance the shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively within the team and to store management.
• Give feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues to management.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient cash register operation skills.
• Safe operation of equipment like hand jacks, floor scrubbers, and balers.
• Capability to maintain cleanliness per company standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work independently and within a team efficiently.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask professionally.
• Meet state and local requirements for alcoholic beverage handling and sales.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
