Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining store cleanliness. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with team members will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers
- Communicate effectively with teammates and store management
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and friendly customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe operation of equipment and performing cleaning tasks
- Interpretation and application of company policies
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and multitasking skills
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
- Combination of education and relevant experience equivalent
