Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Collaboration with the Aldi team and providing top-notch customer service are key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) relevant to the role.
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize merchandise displays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers effectively.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and any operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
• Follow cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Adhere to company policies, uphold security, and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Proficient in prompt and courteous customer service.
• Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to handle equipment like an electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler safely.
• Experience in maintaining cleanliness to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
• Ability to meet local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Educational Background

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• A combination of education and experience is considered.
