Full-Time Store Associate ( $16.00 per hour)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the ALDI team, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and any issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and minimize losses
• Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining data security
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Efficiently operate a cash register
• Safely handle equipment and perform cleaning tasks
• Understand and apply company policies and procedures
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Stay organized, detail-oriented, and multitask effectively

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
