Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, your responsibilities will include merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness. By providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with the team, you will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Communicate effectively with team members and store management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow cash handling policies and company procedures
- Adhere to company policies with a focus on security and confidentiality
- Perform other assigned duties as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register
- Safe handling of equipment
- Proficiency in general cleaning tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Capability to work independently and in a team environment
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol handling
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is advantageous
- Educational background or relevant experience
