Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join the ALDI team. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store remains organized, products are well-merchandised, and customers receive top-notch service. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic team and gain valuable retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and arrange merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assist shoppers, and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow company policies and uphold document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide courteous customer service and operate a cash register accurately.
• Capable of using equipment such as a hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
• Demonstrate organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Meet state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
