Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, operating the cash register, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. You will work collaboratively with the Aldi team and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their shopping experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Adhere to company policies, including cash handling and security procedures.
• Perform store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Operate equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubbers, and cardboard balers.
• Follow company policies for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient and accurate operation of a cash register.
• Capability to operate various equipment and perform general cleaning duties.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience in a retail environment is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
