Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and collaborating effectively with the team will enhance the overall shopping experience for our customers.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide excellent customer service and assist shoppers
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
• Comply with all company policies and uphold document confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years for employment at ALDI
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficient operation of cash register and store equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning standards and safety procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities
• Meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol sales
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior retail experience is a plus
