Job Description

Join ALDI as a Full-Time Store Associate and play a key role in enhancing the customer shopping experience through exceptional customer service. As a Store Associate, you will merchandise and stock products, operate the cash register, and maintain the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping environment.

Position Details

• Position Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ACTs Competencies, and Professional Skills
• Process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and organize product displays
• Provide top-notch customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate effectively with team members and engage with store management
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues
• Participate in inventory management and adhere to cash handling policies
• Follow company policies while ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement: 18 years
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and store equipment
• Capable of following company policies and procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to retail knowledge
