Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a crucial role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist shoppers during their store visit
• Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
• Offer feedback on products, inventory management, and customer service issues
• Participate in store inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize discrepancies
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure store security and data confidentiality
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or above
• Excellent customer service and cash handling skills
• Ability to operate equipment and perform cleaning duties
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Capability to work independently and within a team environment
• Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow instructions efficiently
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales
• Prior retail experience is preferred

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous work experience in retail is advantageous
