Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level) to join our team at Aldi. This position involves merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. As a Store Associate, you will collaborate with the ALDI team, deliver outstanding customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain neat merchandise displays.
• Assist customers, communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Provide feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and uphold cash policies and procedures.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain document security and confidentiality.
• Perform physical tasks like stocking shelves and carrying merchandise.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Adherence to cleaning standards, policies, and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and multitasking ability.
• Compliance with state and local regulations for alcohol sales.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
