Full-Time Store Associate (Entry Level)

Job Description

As a Full-Time Store Associate at Aldi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store operates smoothly and provides exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store, contributing to an enjoyable shopping experience for customers. Collaborating with the ALDI team, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate excellent communication skills and efficiency in your tasks.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.).
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and perform general cleaning duties.
• Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
• Communicate clearly with team members and store management.
• Offer feedback on products, inventory, and operational issues.
• Participate in store inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Follow cash policies and procedures to ensure minimal losses.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
• Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Efficient in operating a cash register and store equipment.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Capable of interpreting and applying company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Meet requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience equivalent to the role's demands.
